iHeart AdBuilder is built specifically to help you reach the right customers with a compelling message, at the right times. With that said, some of the choices you make while creating your AdBuilder campaign will impact your campaign's audience:
- Primary Customers: When you select a primary customer or target customers by age and gender, AdBuilder will automatically optimize your campaign to reach these customers. Your selection in this step will greatly impact the times of day an ad is played, the stations it plays on, and in turn, the customers you reach.
- Flight Dates: If you select flight dates that are close to the current date, we may be unable to reach your full budget goal in a given week, due to competition from other businesses. If you encounter this scenario, simply select a start date that is later than your original selection.
- Geography: In some locations, there will be more competition for inventory than in others. By choosing a location where competition for radio inventory is high, you may see greater overall costs, but keep in mind, those costs may also be reflective of very strong listenership for the stations in these locations.
- Budget: In general, the size of your budget will have a direct impact on your overall impression count. Smaller weekly budgets will translate to smaller total impression counts.
